Jeffries is responsible for managing the green waste stream at the Wingfield Recycling Precinct. Jeffries' operations at Wingfield include the recycled organics depot, landscape supply depot and head office. Jeffries is focused on receiving, processing and marketing recyclable organic resources for maximum sustainable return, which currently includes a range of popular compost, soil and mulch products.

Jeffries operates a multi-purpose facility in the Wingfield Waste & Recycling Centre.

Organics transfer depot

• Receive, primary process and transfer in excess of 100,000 tonnes per annum of organic material
• Material received at Wingfield goes through a range of processes including grinding and visual contaminant removal before transfer to Jeffries world-class Buckland Park composting facility for turning, aerating, blending and final screening
• Accepted material includes kerbside green organics, clean green (branches, vegetation, etc), clean timber (pallets, boxes, etc), wet organics (food, street sweepings, etc)
• EPA licensed site (EPA License No: 16010)
